Intrachromosomal amplification of chromosome 21 (iAMP21)
B-Lymphoblastic leukemia iAMP21 is now considered a provisional entity in WHO2016 classification. This abnormality has been reported in 2% of children with ALL-B with a median age of 9 years. The poor rate of event-free survival when treated with standard chemotherapy justifies its inclusion within the high risk group.
